Fourth of July Parade and Celebration 2010

ooberwetter Celebrate our nation’s freedom, join the parade and have a good time at the Veterans Memorial Sports Complex. Bring a picnic lunch and the whole family for an afternoon of fun. Tourism Rally Day

The City of La Feria participated in the Texas Travel and Tourism Week celebration and set up a booth during the May 14, 2010 event at the Texas Travel Information Center in Harlingen. Travel and Tourism week, May 8-16, shines a spotlight on the economic and employment impact created in South Texas from spending by leisure and business travelers. The jobs of local hospitality workforce – and millions of dollars in local/state tax base – are supported by the vital economic activity generated by travel and tourism. Other entities in the Valley participated as well to make this a very successful event. See pictures.
