The City of La Feria and the Fiesta Planning Committee are working nonstop for another week to prepare for the 22nd Annual Fiesta de La Feria and the Centennial Celebration.  This year due to the Centennial the dates are Friday, February 27 and Saturday, February 28, 2015, so mark your calendar and plan to attend both days to enjoy the festivities designed to entertain the entire family.  There is no admission fee to attend the Fiesta.

On Friday, the event will start at 4:15 P.M. featuring the La Feria High School Ballet Folklorico, followed by live music by Mercy Town, Whiskey D., and La Sombra.

Saturday the event begins at 10:00 a.m. with plenty of food vendors, arts and crafts, games for the children and live entertainment.  The music begins at 11:00 A.M. with the performance of El Mariachi Mundial and ends with our headlining band Ricardo Castillon y La Diferenzia who will be on stage at 9:30 – 11:00 P.M.

Activities will also be held in the Cultural Arts Building at 122 E. Oleander Avenue, where the Tiny/Lil’/Jr., Mr. & Miss Fiesta de La Feria competition will be held at 3:30 P.M. and then the Talent Show produced by the Noemi Dominguez Elementary School will take place at 5:30 P.M.

The Chaparral Building will be transformed into a museum of sorts to display historical photos, a wax museum and a video of interviews with long time La Feria residents who recounted some of their favorite memories of their lives in La Feria.  Student art displays will also be at the Chaparral Building.

If you are a car enthusiast, we have a classic car show where participants compete for first, second, and third place honors and the coveted Mayor’s Choice award.  Vote on your favorite and stay for the results announced at 4:00 p.m.

Browse through the Fiesta related forms below to get a better sense of all the activities going on during the Fiesta de La Feria and Centennial Celebration 2015 and participate in whichever activity you wish.  See our Fiesta Poster and look at the great prizes that will be raffled at 7:15 P.M. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 7:15 P.M.  Buy your tickets for only $3.00 and you don’t need to be present to win; we will call you!
