The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires all community water systems to deliver an annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) to all their water customers. The City of La Feria Utilities Board complied with this requirement by mailing a CCR to all of its current members no later than July 1, 2014. In line with the City’s “good faith” efforts, the City is publishing this notice in order to reach non-bill paying consumers who might not have received a notice through the mail.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has assisted water systems in meeting this EPA requirement by merging data from each water system’s chemical monitoring reports sent to the TCEQ. The CCR indicates that the City’s drinking water meets or exceeds all federal EPA drinking water requirements. The report is a summary of the quality of the water the City provides to its customers.
Copies of the complete detailed CCR are available at City Hall, 115 E. Commercial Avenue, La Feria, Texas 78559 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., or by requesting a copy by mail at the same address. You may also download a PDF copy of this report here: Consumer Confidence Report for 2013
