Public Notice of water quality standards violation.
The La Feria Water plant failed to meet the minimum treatment technique requirements for the month of February 2021. Specifically, our water system had more than 5% of the combined filter effluent turbidity readings were above 0.3 NTU for the month.
The violation is related to the boil water notice that was issued due to the freeze that effected most of the State of Texas in February 2021.
