The City of La Feria and the Fiesta Planning Committee are hard at work preparing for the 19^th Annual Fiesta de La Feria which is held on the last Saturday in February.  This year the date is February 25, 2012, so mark your calendar and plan to attend for a day full of fun for the entire family.  There is no admission fee to attend the Fiesta.

This one day event begins at 9:00 a.m. and will end at 10:00 p.m. and features a variety of vendors, from food, arts and crafts, games and entertainment for the entire family.  The music will begin at 9:45 a.m. with “Most Wanted” playing rock and roll hits.  Also featured are Senior Moments Band, Non Prophet, The Bongodogs, Route 66, Los Angeles del Sur, Jimmy Gonzalez y El Grupo Mazz, and Elida Reyna y Avante.  You can download a copy of the music lineup poster here:  Fiesta Music Poster2012             

Oscar Munoz will be performing his magic in the Cultural Arts Building at 122 E. Oleander Avenue at 1:00 p.m. and also again at 5:00 p.m.  His is a show you don’t want to miss.   

If you are a car enthusiast, we have a classic car show where participants compete for first, second, and third place honors and the coveted Mayor’s Choice award.  Vote on your favorite and stay for the results announced at 4:00 p.m.
